Okay, I know there are alot of these, but bear with me and try to take these into consideration. Don't freak out and try to memorize them, you'll catch on quickly. We won't scold you for innocent mistakes, just be a good player and have fun!

1. NO ONE LINERS!! POSTS MUST BE A MINIMUM OF FOUR SENTENCES!!! (there is no max length)

2. Must be consistent with the character’s role, attitude/personality, and position that is registered in your character during sign up.

3. Can have a maximum of 2 characters under the conditions that (1) They are siblings or active within the same post or (2) One is placed in either the Northern or Southern Territory while the other is in the Western. (I do research and check IP addresses so I know if someone's breaking this rule...)

4. There will be a character check starting at the beginning of EACH month. If there is no response within two weeks of the check we will send a reminder email, if you don’t respond by the second check we will send out a deletion warning the last week of the month. If still there is no response, we WILL delete your character. If you are aware that you will be missing a character check (ie long absence), post it in the "Long Absence" forum. If your comp crashes or you’re without internet, email us when you do return and we’ll reactivate your account as you left it (though you might have to make your char again). Please try to stay active, and remember: you joined for a reason. If it’s too strict for you, don’t join.

5. Pack ranking stats cannot be changed without notifying the pack leader/admin. Doing so may result in suspension of your position or demotion (this really only applies to the higher ranking wolves).

6. No god-moding (if you don't know what that means ask me or someone else for an example). This is a realistic wolf RP, no powers of any sort. Also real wolves don’t wear jewelry, clothes, or tattoos. If your character’s profile picture is drawn, it has to have realistic markings, no funky colors.

7. We will not tolerate hateful or mean people ooc (in character there is an extent to which this rule can be crossed and a higher ranking wolf has the authority to punish); there are real people with real feelings behind each character. Swearing is tolerated but don’t go over board. Don’t make me give an example...

8. In the event of a hunt, the Alpha, or whomever he/she has appointed, will designate a team of hunters who will always be the ones to supply game for the pack unless circumstances change. Slight god-modding is necessary but don’t control the entire hunt in one post. Work realistically as a team and the animal bot will post stats, stating the outcome of the hunt in it's dying post. When one or two wolves are hunting small prey, there’s a 50/50 chance you’ll catch it. Rabbits are NOT that easy and yes they do get away; so don’t jump out of a bush randomly and kill a rabbit. It’s unlikely… (note: as of right now we are under the anibot hunting system so these rules should be a piece of cake to follow)

9. No breeding without the alphas consent. (please don’t actually mate within a thread. Lets keep this PG-ish okay?) Email the alpha if you want to become mates, and a ceremony will commence joining you and your mate together. We’ll post couple stats in a designated thread to make it official. Remember: Wolves mate for life. ^_^

Make sure when roleplaying to keep it strictly in character at all times. I completely understand that there are times when we need to communicate OOC within a post so make sure to make it short, on topic, and in brackets /[] or parentheses (). Also, make sure not to use chatspeak or emoticons in your rp posts, that should also go in your OOC indications.

Can my character have powers?
Nope, sorry but this is as realistic as it gets. This also goes for you all who consider your wolves "demonic" and are effected by the moon or different seasons or circumstances which cause him/her to change physically or act with unrealistic abnormalities.

What if my character has a story behind it?
Fine with us, just please don't make our story extra complicated with your dramatically emo past.. it's really cliche..
ex - "You don't understand! When I was a pup, my mother ignored me and my father was cruel. I hate being pushed around but I endured it for the pack I used to be in was powerful and my parents, the alphas were very reputable."
You see...? That's a pet peeve of mine, but please - if you're character has a story, feel free to make a SHORT summary in your profile or a link to the whole thing. Just don't get it too involved with ours. (it puts all the focus on you as an individual...) Remember, you joined that pack for a reason, and as a wolf, your pack is your family.

What are the standards of the picture I use?
No specific size, really - we don't care as long as we dont have to strain our eyes or scroll too much to see it lmao. You must base your character's physical traits off of the picture - unless you can photoshop it/draw it yourself. Try not to use extremely popular photos that we've all seen before (especially try not to use pics of characters from movies or tv shows) and try to use clear photos. Lastly, if you are using a drawing/other work of art, make sure you have the right to use it. We artists hate theft. If the pic is made by someone else please let them know or credit them. (Note: this does not go for photos unless you know who took the picture; in that case - please credit them)

What are the limits of my character's age?
The youngest your wolf pup can be is five months. Choose your age wisely though, because in this rp - characters age exactly as they would irl. So, if you're planning on staying with us a while, you'll be able to play throughout your wolf's lifetime. The oldest your wolf can be is about 12 or 13 years.

What species is there to choose from?
First, let me answer this - you must make sure that you are actually a wolf. We don't allow third generation wolf hybrids but slight domestication is allowed (meaning one's character has been in contact with humans/somewhere waaaaaaaay in the past, one's great grandparents were domestic dog/or been domesticated and returned to the wild). Other than that, there's a huge list of wolf species to chose from. I wanna be really flexible on this topic and allow you all to choose any species from around the world as long as they aren't made up or extinct >< Mixed wolf breeds are allowed.

Can I change my profile?
As long as they are not major changes that would change your character drastically. If they are major changes, contact me or Moirae and we'll see what we can do about updating (I like to lock the profiles after they've been accepted to keep people from ooc chatting in the thread).

Once I apply to join a certain pack, does that mean I'm automatically in?
Yes, but only as a subordinate. One should play their character as a new member of the pack and address themselves as such as if they had not been accepted yet. Other ranks may be given after the pack leader or other high ranks have had time to observe one's behavior. Once accepted, one does not have the right to leave or change packs unless exiled (which shouldn't even happen).
